MINI Cooper S 2004-2006 100% stainless system bolts to the stock exhaust after the catalytic converter. Twin round tips fill out the rear valence perfectly with no rubbing. This is the Street system that is quieter than the Borla Race system. The Street system uses two large rear mufflers that are freer-flowing than the stock units. This produces a throaty exhaust note at lower RPM that fades as revs rise. It is more civilized than the Race system, perfect for daily driving. The Street system saves about 10lbs from the stock exhaust. After extensive runs on our Dynapack dynomometer the Borla came out better than all others: a gain of 6-7 hp and a small torque increase. Power increases at lower rpm but starts to make significant gains starting at 3700 rpm.
