Heavy Duty (HD) Steel BMW/MINI oil filter removal socket for all BMW 3,5,6,7,8 series and MINI Coopers that require a 36mm 6 point socket to remove the plastic filter cover. To avoid cover damage never use a 12 point common socket. This special tool is used on most late BMW 6 cylinder, and V8's that use a 36mm filter hex drive on the plastic filter cover. The socket is designed to function with all 3/8" drive mechanics ratchet.
