Pro 5R Intake: The aFe Pro 5R provides the highest airflow levels for the
largest gains in horsepower and torque. Only Pro 5R media is progressive
in nature, offering five layers of progressively more tightly woven
cotton gauze for protection levels in the high 98% range without
sacrificing airflow. Because the Pro 5R has larger pores, it requires
oil to capture particles.

conventional, oil-impregnated, pleated media or foam filter; simply
wash, dry, and reuse. Pro Dry S filters provide dramatic airflow
increases for improved horsepower and torque performance. aFe uses two
layers of randomly porous synthetic material with 99.2% filtration
efficiency
