E36: This is the 3rd Generation of the TMS E36 Sway Bars and features CNC'd ends for greater precisicion handling, re-countoured bends for better clearance, an even larger 30mm front bar and a 24mm rear bar, both with 2 holes for adjustment. This is one of the largest diameter solid front bars available, perfect for taming that understeer.

These swaybars fit all 1992-1999 BMW 3 series (E36 chassis), including E36 M3, 325i, 325is, 328i, 328is, 323is, 318i and 318is (sorry, no ti).

Developed from years of racing the E36 in World Challenge Touring Car competition, we have discovered the E36 favors a larger front bar without over doing the size of the rear. This is the best combination we could find to reduce body roll while making handling as neutral as possible. These bars work with stock swaybar links, and optional premium adjustable rear swaybar links are available (see options below). Each swaybar sits in a polyurethane bushing which has a squeak resistant lining. Perfect for street use and great for competition / track applications.

 

 

E46 (non-M3): TMS announces a new sway bar set for the E46 3 series (non-M3)! Featuring a 2-way adjustable, 27mm front bar and a 3-way adjustable, 21mm rear bar. Bars have precision forged ends and include bushings made from an exclusive urethane/Teflon composite that eliminates squeaks, and don't require lubrication. Ever. Bars are powder coated for long-lasting good looks. These bars are made from a proprietary alloy that is both stronger and more resilient than competitive sway bars.

 

 

E46 M3: The TMS sway bars for the E46 M3 are 3 way adjustable in the front and 2 way adjustable in the rear. They were designed by TMS to provide better overall balance and performance than the competitor's bars. (30mm front and 25mm rear diameter) These also include H&R's exclusive urethane / Teflon bushings that require no lubrication or maintenance, ever! These bars are are crafted from a special 50CrV4 spring steel that is both stronger and more resilient than competitive sway bars. These bars have been shot peened and heat treated, and feature precision forged ends. We feel that these are the best bars on the market for the E46 M3 - Check out our race winning Grand Am Cup M3 - it uses these same bars.
