Owners of the 2002-2006 Mini Cooper S constantly complain about annoying resonances and the overall mundane sound of the stock exhaust system. Alta's Sportone exhaust system sounds, looks and performs the way the factory Cooper S exhaust system should have. The Alta Sportone exhaust note is pleasant and lively at idle, but releases a sporty, throaty growl under hard acceleration. The Sportone for the 02-06 Cooper S does this without annoying resonances at idle or while cruising the interstate. The Alta Sportone for the R53 Mini Cooper S combines show-quality looks with performance gains every MCS owner wants from a cat back exhaust system.

 

The Alta Sportone uses 2.5" diameter high-polish mandrel bent stainless steel tubing. The 2.5" exhaust is a perfect match to the high revving, supercharged powerplant in the Cooper S with mild upgrades. All necessary hardware, gaskets, and instructions are included with the system.
