Street vs Sport vs Race: Supersprint offers great options for your BMW E46 M3. Their steet version is a quieter more "stock-like" exhaust. It features beautiful stainless tips and a sporty tone compared to your stock exhaust. It is perfect for anyone who doesnt want to be too flashy, but still wants performance gains and weight savings. Supersprint Sport muffler is the perfect alternative to the louder and more agressive Supersprint Race, yet sportier and lighter then the SuperSprint Street muffler. The Race version is a lighter more compact exhaust. It has a louder and more aggressive tone. It is not too loud and is still found on many daily driven M3s. We are proud to be able to offer our customers numerous options to meet their tastes and needs. All options are great and sell very well, the choice is up to you depending on what you are looking for as far as sound, weight savings, and performance gains.
All Supersprint mufflers are of the flow through resonated design. This means each unit has no chambers or baffles to reduce velocity. Simply, a straight through in & out design. The internal components are 100% stainless steel with a high heat resistant rock wool sound suppressing material, not found in any other systems. This is the reason we can offer you sound legal performance exhaust systems. Tubing is always mandrel bent for maximum flow. Flanges and hangers are O.E. or better quality for a perfect fit every time. Housings are all manufactured from 1.5mm material that is M.I.G. welded at all seams. These stainless systems are 100% 304 stainless steel.
Note: Bolts directly to stock rear resonator or Supersprint # (022 787 513 / 022 787 503). Total weight is 26lbs which is 14lbs lighter and offers better flow than the standard Supersprint muffler. This muffler has 80mm rolled tips with a loud aggressive race sound. E46 M3 (2000-2006)
